The Royal Troon Golf Club, in Ayshire, Scotland, was founded in 1878 and includes three courses. The courses developed over the years, with several designers having a hand in improving them as time went on. The grounds of this traditional links-style course are covered in gorse and broom, and deep bunkers and constant wind add to the challenge.
