The Royal Troon Golf Club, in Ayshire, Scotland, was founded in 1878 and includes three courses. The courses developed over the years, with several designers having a hand in improving them as time went on. The grounds of this traditional links-style course are covered in gorse and broom, and deep bunkers and constant wind add to the challenge. The eighth hole became known as the Postage Stamp, because the putting surface is so small; the hole is captured here by Stephen Szurlej, Senior Staff Photographer, Golf Digest.
